Trusts and foundations have, in one form or another, been around for many, many years; as tools for wealth management and succession planning.

The concept of a Trust is where a family gives its wealth to another entity to own, keep and manage. At RP Trust we advise on this highly sophisticated mechanism for the management of wealth and the minimisation of the taxes inevitably associated with it.

The Foundation, in essence just the same as the Trust but operates more effectively in a Civil law environment. We consult on both these instruments, as most often used for the family’s generational benefit.

bank account opening

Labuan company can open foreign accounts with any banks in Labuan or outside Labuan. However, the account name must be the Labuan company name.

work permit applications

Labuan work permit is available to the director of Labuan company for 2 years and renewal every 2 years. The work permit is only available for trading companies and not available for investment holding companies.

ship Registration under Malaysian International Ship Registry (MISR).

We assist our clients in establishing, structuring and planning the registration of their vessel through MISR.
